A tale of Drab to Fab.

There was once a fair maiden (more pale than fair) who wanted a kitchen table but look as she might, she could never find one to call her own. In her distress and sometimes obsession, she looked at mall and outlet until one day she found the perfect table. Old, rustic, and perfect. Not everyone agreed with her decision but she loved her new table.

Once she gave a home to the first table, other tables wanted to join the fair maiden and so she obliged. She took home a small nook table from Goodwill, painted it white and gave it 5 coats of polyurethane for easy cleaning.

Then out of the blue she stumbled on old black, a farm table from the 1800's that feed the farm hands of a family in Oregon (true story). The table is a bit wobbly but it feels like comfort.
(She also got it for FREE!)

Now, everywhere the maiden goes it seems as if she could buy another table but alas she is practical and leaves the tables be so that other fair maidens may rescue them.

The End
